Celebrate Banned Books Week September 29th through October 6th
The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling is frequently challenged for promoting witchcraft, occult/satanism, anti-family themes, violence, disrespect to adults, lying, cheating, stealing, and rule breaking. It was “challenged in North Carolina for “a serious tone of death, hate, lack of respect, and sheer evil.” Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was challenged but retained in Bristol NH because the book was “scary”.

I would like to challenge the current administration for being scary, too. If I did, do you suppose IT would be removed? No!
