April Vacation Week events!!! Join us!!

There are lots of great events planned at the Dover Public Library for the April school vacation, designed to keep the whole family entertained.
On Monday, April 24 at 6:30pm, your teddy bear (or other stuffed friend) is cordially invited to spend the night in the library! At the Teddy Bear Sleepover, you and your stuffed friend will enjoy some stories, crafts, and a snack together. Settle your friend in for the night before you leave, and then pick him up in the Children's Room anytime after 12pm the next day. You will get a picture showing how much fun your stuffed buddy had at the library! Don't forget to wear your pajamas too!!!
“Let’s Play Outside” is featured on Tuesday, April 25 from 2-4pm: run, jump, skip, and play! Join us on the front lawn of the library for some good old-fashioned outdoor fun. We will provide balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, and other toys. After playtime, enjoy a healthy snack. The program will be weather dependent, so please call the library if you have any questions.
Children of all ages (with an adult) are invited to attend Family Storytime on Wednesday, April 26 at 10am. This 45-minute program includes stories, finger plays, songs, puppets, and games.
Kids in grades one and up (with an adult) are invited to join us for a BFG Family Escape Room adventure on Wednesday, April 26 at 3pm.  An Escape Room is an interactive game where participants work as a team towards a goal by cracking codes and solving puzzles.  Registration is required.
Attention all Minecraft fans! Join us on Thursday, April 27 from 2-4pm in the Children's Room for crafts, activities, and games. As an option, bring your device and share tips and tricks with other Minecraft enthusiasts.
Parents, caregivers, and their babies are invited to “Mother Goose on the Loose” on Friday, April 28 at 10am. This early learning program is specifically designed for children from birth to 24 months and uses books, rhymes, songs, musical instruments, finger plays, flannel board characters, puppets, and other props to help develop a child’s early literacy skills in a fun environment.
The ever popular “Music with benji” program will also take place on Friday, April 28 at 11am. Families love singing, dancing and playing instruments at this interactive, joyful program.
The week will round out with a finger knitting program on Saturday, April 29 at 11am. Kids in grade one and up who are interested in fiber arts can learn this fun skill. We have the yarn, you bring the fingers!
And of course, there are books, movies, audiobooks, and museum passes available to check out. Make sure you include the Dover Public Library in your April vacation week plans. Call the Children’s Room, 603-516-6052 for more information, or to register for the Escape Room program on the 26th. All other events require no preregistration.
