New Ladybug Picture Book Award Nominees

The Ladybug Picture Book Award, a project of the Center for the Book at the New Hampshire State Library, is designed to promote early literacy and honor the best in recent children's picture books. This year's committee has chosen the 10 nominees for 2013.  New Hampshire children, from preschool to third grade, will select the winning picture book when they vote in November.
And the 2013 nominees for the Ladybug Picture Book Award are:

Chopsticks by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Scott Magoon

Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds & Peter Brown

Extra Yarn by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen

Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore by William Joyce and Joe Bluhm

Have Fun, Molly Lou Melon by Patty Lovell and David Catrow

If All the Animals Came Inside by Eric Pinder and Marc Brown

Little Dog Lost by Monica Carnesi

Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner and Christopher Silas Neal

Stuck by Oliver Jeffers

Too Tall Houses by Gianna Marino
