The Nomination of Steve Miller for "Best Fact crime" is a shame.

His book "Girl Wanted, the chase for Sarah Pender" is written in a dishonest manner.

key information about the case are hidden from the reader. Documents are misquoted to mislead people. About the escape of Sarah Pender, the only revelations Steve Miller does are about Sarah pender's sex life, for lack of anything of real interest.

Please read "Debunking Girl Wanted" at the following URL

All side of the story should be heard.

It will speak poorly of the Allan Award if this guy wins in his category.

  2. Since you recommend "Girl Wanted, the chase for Sarah Pender", it would be fair to mention in these comments that not everybody agrees on Sarah Pender's culpability.

Steve Miller book is a very one-sided account against Pender. He has left out many information and misquoted some documents. He often mislead the reader in this manner.

People who may want to know more and make up their own mind may read Debunking Girl Wanted.

Please hear both side of the story. Miscarriages of justice happen, and this happens to be one.
