The Library May be Closed but It Still Has Plenty to Offer

Due to Governor Sununu's Stay At Home directive, the Dover Public Library is closed and the Librarians are working from home Monday - Friday from 9-5pm.
If you have questions, give us a call at 603-516-6050 or email libraryquestions@dover.nh.gov.

If you have books or DVDs (or anything else) checked out, please keep them safely at your house until the building reopens. There are no fines now, and fines won't start again until the building has been open for 3 weeks.
You cannot (and don't need to) renew your items. Just keep them at your house.
If you have something on hold, it will still be on hold for you when the building opens.
If your library card has expired, please give us a call  or email and we'll get it renewed for you.

The Library has many resources you can use from home; digital books, magazines movies, and music. Use the time to learn a new skill on Creativebug, or a new language on Mango.

We now offer a collection of recorded story times with Miss Patty, Miss Emily and Miss Tina. Watch our Facebook page for announcements of when the story times will occur and you can tune in and interact with the Librarians through Zoom.

Many companies have offered their digital resources free to help out people stuck at home. You can read books, listen to audiobooks, take online tours of museums and a zoo, listen to authors read aloud, and work on your family genealogy.
